Your typical child may need some support in terms of understanding their autistic sibling. AS3 is open to children of all ages - feel free to contact us to be put on our e-mail list for events.
Social Skills/Thinking Training
The VA Psychology Center offers comprehensive and dynamic social skills training groups. We offer such groups annually and can begin a group once a minimum of 3 children have registered.
In the past, our groups have consisted of 5(min.) to 10(max.) children in a group with two facilitators to guide the social skills sessions. These sessions are typically run on a Saturday morning. We welcome your inquiries regarding these groups.
