Originally from England, Lucy has been living overseas for over 20 years. She holds a Masters degree in Counselling from Monash University, Australia.  


She is also trained as a facilitator of the World Health Organisation approved FRIENDS programmes that have been developed and designed to build life-long resilience in individuals, families, schools and communities.

Prior to becoming a counsellor, Lucy worked as a teacher in International Schools in the UK, Mexico and Singapore. She held a variety of roles teaching children, adolescents and adults. 

Lucy adopts a person-centred approach in her work – she believes that the client has all the answers within him/herself, and she will provide a safe, non-judgemental space, support and tools for the client to work through their challenges, make positive changes in their lives and enhance their wellbeing.


Lucy tailors counselling sessions to the individual using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Mindfulness techniques.


Lucy can provide counselling to children, adolescents and adults experiencing personal, professional and relationship issues including, but not limited to, low mood, stress, anxiety, self-esteem/confidence, anger management, emotional-regulation and grief/loss.
